A few birds

At Mulligans and on the Old Grafton Road we have come across some interesting birdlife. Some will sit a little while to have their picture taken. Others flit around to avoid having their picture taken.

Here are some who sat around for just long enough!

Eastern Yellow Robin
Satin Bowerbird (from a distance thought it was a Currawong, but it is so glossy black and has purple eyes and a yellowy beak. (The Currawong has yellow eyes and some white on its tail and wings.)
A Grey shrike thrush, I hope!
Definitely a Scarlet Honeyeater.
Willy Wagtail on high!
Jacky winter, a grey brown robin.

Thats all folks, we now head for Guyra south of Glen Innes on the New England Highway.
